Example 1. Maya Group worked with a popular television network to better understand how to promote its programming and brand. A series of commercials was evaluated on a moment-to-moment basis using Maya Group’s electronic data collection keypads to determine which elements would drive interest in the advertising as well as the programming itself. The manner in which the brand was presented (logo, visual cues, taglines) was also explored and consequently refined by the network.
Example 2. An international multimedia news agency engaged Maya Group to evaluate the wants and needs of customers with regard to training support on its news and market data tools. We conducted in-person focus groups in three major U.S. markets, uncovering several barriers to usage and a need to build more awareness about the tools.
Example 3. A global media company was ready to move forward with marketing communications and programming for the launch of a new cable channel. With focus groups across the U.S., Maya Group explored which programming was viewed as most appropriate for the new channel and gathered feedback on how the channel could be promoted most effectively. We were able to identify several red flags and areas for improvement. |
